Also, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have access to the Ultimate Edition of Gears 5.

Unfortunately yes, you’d need to purchase GTA 5 again for PC as the game is not a Xbox Play Anywhere title. The Xbox game disc and Xbox digital copy of GTA 5 aren’t compatible on PC. The PC and Xbox console versions of the game are separate, including the Xbox 360 version.

Because of this, your game progress and in-game items aren’t synced between the different versions (even on the same Xbox account and profile), I’m afraid. This also applies to your online character/level, game achievements, DLCs and add-ons etc.

I suggest to have a look around for offers, as the game can be quite expensive at some retailers but there are always some offers around.

GTA 5 is currently available on Game Pass, which is a monthly subscription similar to Netflix for games. This gives you access to a library of free-to-play games. An Ultimate Subscription is the most ideal with Game Pass for PC and console, Xbox Live Gold, EA Play, and Cloud gaming, as well as other features all included in one bundle. Also keep in mind that GTA 5 doesn’t support cross-play. So you can only play with others online on the same device/console platform - meaning that you won’t be able to play with Xbox One players in GTA 5 if on PC and vice-versa, for example.

I used to have a Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) subscription active on this account from a 3 months Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) code i got from discord nitro. This now appears under Canceled subscriptions as Expired on 2/28/2020.

This month i bought a XBOX one X and activated an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 1 month key which should overwrite the old Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) one since it also includes it.

Update: I am seeing a Your Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) subscription has expired. message when entering the Services & subscriptions page on my microsoft account. It also has the RENEW option, which is completely pointless since i have the Xbox Game Pass
Ultimate acctive.

GTA+ is available only on GTA Online for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S. If you login into your Microsoft account (On a PC) and head over to subscriptions, You'll be able to cancel or pause whatever subscriptions you have.
