Is anything being done to address the issue with Starfield constantly crashing on Xbox...

Really appreciate you for sending us a link for the video relating on the issue we have. I actually found another troubleshooting steps that we can apply from your end. Please see the following:

Before we proceed and performing the steps, can you please tell us your consoles OS build and are you part of Xbox insider program?

Here's the steps:

• Check if the console is connected to the internet and is getting a good connection (you can do by testing the "Test network speed and statistics)
  
• Clear Persistent storage
  
  • Go to settings > device and streaming > Blu- ray > Persistent Storage > Clear persistent storage
    
• Clear MAC Address
  
  • Go to settings > General > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear > Restart
    
• Test the game again.
  
• If the issue persists, proceed to reset the console and keeps games and apps.
  
  • Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    
  • Select system > settings > system > console info > reset console
    
  • On the reset your console? Be sure to select, Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your first choice. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.
    
    
    
• Last resort if still not working is to reset the console to factory default - remove everything option.

Tried all of that it could be our eradic internet which is all that is available (at least in the sense of worth having) in my area. I think they might still have dialup in my area though we don't have a landline not that it matters most web pages won't even work with dialup today. The only other option is satellite which is very expensive and limits data usage. So I'm here per Bethesda request. We've exhausted all possible solutions and still have the issue of the game well not crashing just shutting off. One thing they did say is to try going offline and playing it. But when I try it tells me you must be connected to the internet to play this game. Which is odd since I bought the Premium edition on July 23rd which I find out in August it won't work on xBox One so I buy a brand new xBox Series X which with the size of the game among the hundreds of other games I own I need more storage so I also bought an xBox 12tb external hard drive. Just to find out that the game and so many of my other games won't play off the external hard drive like they did on my xBox One. So Now nearly $1,000 in and I finally get the game to find out it won't even stay running long enough to do anything. So from where I stand I'm out approximately $968 on a console that's crappier than the so called outdated xBox One all for a game that will not play. Somebody better start giving me answers.

Same here absolutely unplayable and none of these silly tips and tricks work. Microsoft over here trying to act like we don’t know restarting anything Microsoft has been the first troubleshooting tip since windows 95.

We recommend that you keep your game and console up to date with the latest updates and patches.



In the meantime, we suggest that you try the following troubleshooting steps to see if they help resolve the issue:



1. Clear the cache on your Xbox Series X. To do this, press and hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds until it turns off. Then unplug the power cable from the back of the console and wait for 10 seconds before plugging it back in and turning on your console.



2. Check your internet connection. Make sure that your Xbox Series X is connected to a stable and reliable internet connection. You can also try resetting your router or modem to see if that helps.



3. Delete and reinstall the game. Sometimes, a corrupted game file can cause crashes. Try deleting the game from your console and then reinstalling it from the Microsoft Store.
