Is anyone having issues preordering Starfield from the Xbox store ?

I'm on xbox with 75 usd already in my Microsoft account for the starfield preorder but it is saying it's still pending. and yes, I put the money in the account before I ordered the game so why isn't Microsoft taking the money? I want to play the game om Thursday night at preorder lunch date. I already bought the dlc separately with my card

The store is not accepting either of my two payment options.

Support tried to get around this by using digital gift cards, problem is that purchase has been pending for 24 hours.

I literally had to add money to my Microsoft Balance get in contact with a support agent and have them purchase the game using my Microsoft balance on their end.

Can you please try using a different payment method, Tim? Make sure that it's not a prepaid card.

I per order Starfield on August 16 2023 and today I went to Microsoft website it said failed purchase

I’m having the same problem would it work if I’d just add money onto my Xbox that way instead of trying to buy it with a card?
