    I am having an issue with Xbox for PC where some games will download and install without issue, but others will not. For instance, I can install Madden 23 but Elder Scrolls Oblivion will not start downloading and throws the 0x80070002 error code. I have tried resetting Windows, resetting the Microsoft Store, uninstalling the Xbox app, running windows update, downloaded and ran every tool in wureset, and nothing has changed. It's also weird that I have no problem downloading and installing through EA Play, which shows in the Xbox app. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thank you, DaleGoins. I really appreciate your efforts and time on this one. If the same error persists, I suggest you also submit a report. Just press the start button and then enter Feedback Hub in the search box. Open the Feedback Hub app, and then select Report a problem. The error only suggest to wait again and try so this could be a temporary glitch since all other games are working on your game pass.

    Thank you for replying. Xbox Live Game Save was not running, so I started it, set it to start automatically, and tried the download again, with no change. I rebooted and now the install queue is bounding back and forth between Queued and Downloading, but it's not starting.

    I did find them. They were hidden. I followed the directions and rebooted with no change. I am working on the clean boot and will reply once that is completed.

    I executed the command, but there were a large number of errors. It looks like they are version issues and resources in use. Let me know if you would like the log files.

    The error remains.

    Try to Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Find the App named "Gaming Services" then select the Advanced options link under the name of the app (some apps don't have this option). On the page that opens, select Reset. Do the same with the Xbox app.

    After that press WIN+R (Windows logo key + R) , Enter "services.msc", find "Gaming Services", stop the service, and then start it back again.
