Is a consistent download speed of 0.01 a known issue?

Since I got a pretty good response on another issue last time, with what was a known thing others were having too, (just not obviously transparent to us) I thought I’d give this a shot out of curiosity.

For the last I’d say, about a year or so, no matter what I do, every time I test for detailed network statistics, it always says it’s getting a download speed of 0.01; and doesn’t take long to say so. It use to be much more realistic and accurate than this. However, at least youtube is loading just fine or it has its own hiccups.

I’m wondering if this is an issue on Microsoft/Xbox’s side, or a common issue with the consoles, or if there’s anything we can do to correct this.

I don’t see removing the profile and redownloading everything as a necessary measure, nor do I want to risk…

Yes, these are the ports that Xbox live uses to communicate. If the Port is blocked, then it will stop you right there and show the low download.

If you don’t know how to open ports on your router, please contact support for either the manufacturer of your router, or if it was supplied by your Internet provider, their support

I definitely don’t know anything about a global port range.

Is that what it means? It actually failed because of low bandwidth? Even though YouTube at least works fine?

I’m not sure if those are the ones opened, nor would I know how to go about it.

Do those effect xbox one too?

Console network test, or detailed network statistics, via WiFi. Nothing extra, just whatever my isp has. I’ve had it optimized for Xbox, which evidently affects the whole Xbox platform. And sure enough, I saw a dramatically better connection with 360 and Xbox one.

Hello again, yes, the Xbox makes dual band at the time of the connection, however by its description it is difficult to know if there is a bottleneck in the network and where it is, the ideal in these cases is to request a technical visit from your ISP, or from some technical network specialist who can measure and make readings on your network with appropriate equipment.
