    iPlayer app on the X Box One S


    I am having problems with the sound when watching BBC iPlayer. The sound is almost inaudible unless turned up to nearly maximum - even then it is the equivalent of volume 7 on any other app / game. I have reinstalled the app but there is no difference.
    What do you suggest I do?

    BBC iPlayer on Xbox One has no sound

    I have the same issue.

    I have 2 xboxes connected to the same tv, an xbox one x and a black orginal xbox.

    A couple of weeks ago the iplayer sound of the xbox one x stopped working when playing, everything else on the xbox sound wise works fine.

    When i play a video the sound makes a little noise for a split second then doesn't work.

    So i have to switch to the other xbox to watch bbc iplayer.

    This is how i definately know its a software bug on the iplayer.

    A have reinstalled the app to no avail.

    I haven't factory reset the xbox yet.

    My sons is an x box one s and mine Is just the x box one. We can't sign in to either of our accounts on both consoles!

    What Do You Have Connected to the "TV" App on Your XBOX ONE.

    Now tv box until Sky news and BBC iplayer are launched then ill probably invest in one of those freeview ariels MS are releasing.

    One option is to try to get a new power supply diretly from microsoft, the other option is to get a power converter to use it.
