Ipin and Minecraft issue

As far as I can tell, there is no way to bypass this process since it is an online identification procedure put in place by the Korean Government agency, KISA (Korea Internet & Security Agency).

To verify your age so you can play your game, sign in at live.xbox.com/ageverification

For more info on IPIN, go to https://www.kisa.or.kr/main.jsp.

If those resources don't help, then you will need to speak with Xbox Customer Support for Korea to get further assistance as there is nothing that we can do about your issue on the forums.

1. https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us.
2. Select Contact Us.
3. Select "Account & profile" in the first drop-down and then "I need a Microsoft account" in the second drop-down
4. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in to your Microsoft Account at this point.
5. Once logged in, scroll down in the window to Other options and select Request a Call.
6. You can add additional information at this point if you'd like and then select Request call
7. A new window will open for you to enter your Country/region and your best contact number, then select Confirm and you'll be placed in a queue to receive a call back from Customer Support

That is bad and disappointing so what was the point of creating a Minecraft account if it isn't going to work also can I just delete my account because I have no use for it. 😡

Getting this message simply means that we need to verify your age using the IPIN (Internet Personal Identification Number). The IPIN system is managed by KISA (Korea Internet & Security Agency).

Another option would be to fill out the Age verification form.You
cansubmit proof of age by filling out theAge verification Request.



After submitting this form, you’ll receive confirmation and follow-up emails. Instructions on how you can monitor the status of your request will be included. Please do not submit multiple requests. You can expect an email response within
3 days.

If the error message you're receiving is directly related to your Ipin for purchasing, then you would need to contact the service for the Ipin directly for further assistance.

If you even bothered to read the page, it says specifically that the only method to verify your age in South Korea is through iPin, which is the most annoying thing ever.

WHENEVER someone asks why the Xbox login with iPin won't work, the Microsoft officials respond with "o ples just talk to the ipin people not us, wer'e locking this post so u cant reply lmao".

They NEVER try to help you, they just shove the problem over to others and don't even try to contact any "higher-up" people to try and improve the entire situation.

And that is why I would rather live in the US than in South Korea. So many things are complicated for minors (even if you're not).
