iOS Xbox App: Can’t Search Names

I’ve spoken with Apple Tech Support for the App Store. They’re not seeing any issues from an account or device standpoint that would be causing this. My phone and the app are up to date as well. They pointed me back to Microsoft, the app developer.

Yeah, it’s frustrating. I had an Android for a while, and that app had a few quirks too, but all the functions worked properly.

Not being able to search for people is something I just recently noticed. A friend at work and I tried to add each other, and had to do at at home via the console.

Not being able to purchase a game has been an issue for months, and has persisted through numerous updates. Every game... “Play on Xbox One.” Even for games I don’t own.

Thanks for the reply. The link you provided does not list the Xbox App as an app I’m able to report a problem on, for whatever reason. Also, Apple Support suggests contacting the developer of the app via the App Store, which led me here in the first place.

I’ve sent an email to Apple and I’m awaiting a response. This is not the only problem with the Xbox App on iOS. I haven’t been able to purchase games via the Microsoft Store for quite some time. Only way to do it from my phone is via the Microsoft’s website.

I am ALWAYS having bugs and issues with the Xbox APP on iOS, glad it's not just me but sorry you're also experiencing this.
