    iOS 14.5 + xbox.com/play - controller not working?


    I have been able to pair the xbox one x controller to both iPads, 1 iPhone and the Mac Pro to test if the issue was with the company equipment restrictions (Mac and one iPad), but it does not seem to be the case.

    I am able to stream a game on xbox.com/play but the input from the controller is never received and does not progress in the game (press any button stage).

    I downloaded a controller app to check if the xbox controller was sending the "signal" to the iPad and the app matched exactly the buttons I was pressing, so the controller is able to comunicate with the iPad. I am not sure what else needs to change to be able to send these input to Safari or Chrome.



    Any help, suggestion would be greatly appreciated.



    PS: I made sure that both controller and iPads were on the latest firmware available.

    Mac Pro is still using Catalina with its latest updates.

    Google needs to update their drivers for the new controllers. They have to do it. Apple isn’t upgrading to support them until 14.5 for example.

    Double check is at least ios 14.5 and upsets your device if necessary

    It is only working when playing on Xbox? Kindly try to clearing your history and cookies, go to Settings > Safari, and tap Clear History and Website Data. Clearing your history, cookies, and browsing data from Safari won't change your AutoFill information. Then sign in to Xbox.com/play again. If this is an issue with screen time, I am afraid only the organizer account can try to refresh the settings. Please refer to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/....

    Would you be able to ask the organizer account to toggle your settings online? https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/family-onli.... They can also can add more screen time by using the Xbox Family Settings app, Xbox console, or the web. When you're notified that a member reached their screen time limit, choose how much time you want to add
