    Invite option not working for backward compatible game


    I was playing a pretty much dead game and I wanted to invite someone to join me but when I tried through the xbox one menu it doesn't work but when I tried through the 360 menu it send but the recipient didn't receive it. Plz help thanks

    Ps it was a backwards compatible xbox 360 game on the xbox one console

    When sending or accepting invites on BC games, it is important that both players are using the Xbox 360 guide. This is done by pressing both the menu and view buttons.

    Hi AdanAhmet,

    He will be only be able to play online with you if he buys xbox 360 games that are on the backward compatibility. that's the only way you will be able to play with each other. xbox one and the xbox 360 have different servers/ports.
