Invitation links TestFlight for Xbox mobile beta app (iOS)

As I was part of the X1 preview prog there was a Survey on the preview dash that asked questions about smartglass beta for iOS and if I would like to test it. I then received an email with invite to Download Testflight with access to the Beta. Other than
that I'm not sure if there is a way to seek an invite.

It sounds like you've exhausted most good troubleshooting steps, and that it is indeed an issue with the app. I haven't heard of issue like this on the Android version of the app.

I know you can sign up for the beta app on Android... I know you'd just like it to work, so have you considered looking into the iOS XBox (beta) app may fix your issue?

If you have a Android device (iOS public build coming soon, TestFlight is not open to general public), you may install the Xbox (Beta) application from the Google Play store to have the ability to upload a custom image from your mobile device. Custom images
is still in beta/testing stage and has not yet been released to any public builds yet.

As this is the beta, I would follow the default guidelines for feedback of the beta app:

1. Open the TestFlight app on your device.
2. From the Apps list, tap the app.
3. Tap Send Beta Feedback.
4. In the share dialogue, tap Include Screenshot to choose a screenshot. If you don’t want to send an attachment, tap Don't Include Screenshot.
5. Add your comments (up to 2,000 characters), and optionally enter your email address if you were invited with a public link.
6. Tap Submit.
