    Invalid postal code


    I am trying to buy a Dlc for a game i have and need to enter my billing information. I am from Cyprus and eventually the message says i have to enter a valid Postal code. So what is the problem with my postal code? Can i use money to buy stuff from Microsoft
    even if i am from Cyprus or not?

    You may have accidentally entered your region incorrectly when you created the account. You can check it by visiting
    https://billing.microsoft.com and click on "Personal Information". If that region doesn't match your physical location and the region in which you bought the card, you may have issues.

    Since Cyprus is not a supported country you would not be able to enter a valid address for that country. Even if you were to enter a valid address for another country, you will run into issues downloading some content due to the region mismatch.

    Thanks for the answer. It seems a bit strange that a EU country is not supported by Microsoft as people here want to spend money on buying gaming products via the web.

    I'm sure Microsoft would love to have Live in every country, but it comes down to rules and regulations in each country.

    You cannot change your account region. If it was entered incorrectly or you have since moved you would have to create a new account with the correct information.
