internet not working

so my xbox can connect to the internet and I can test the network connection but after that nothing else works that need the internet and it tells me to connect to xbox live

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

Hi I've run the test but it's says "Xbox live problem", along with "Your network is good, but there are some Xbox service issues". I've just updated my console and I just can't sign.

I did exactly as you said I held down the button on the Xbox until It was off and then took the cord from out of the back and left it for 5 minutes then went back on restarted the Xbox and it still doesn't work

Clearing the system cache can sometimes help with connectivity issues. Go to Settings > System > Storage > Clear System Cache. If that doesn't work, Your DNS settings might be causing the issue. Go to Settings > System > Network Settings > Wired (or Wireless) Network > Configure Network > DNS Settings > Automatic.
