Internet is somewhat turned off and nothing but settings will load

Could you be more specific regarding the loss of your overall Internet connection.

Is your Internet connection restored to be fully operational again?

Is it that your Internet connection are under a restricted data plan, which enables throughput to decrease drastically if you exceed the usage within your data plan?

Have you tried to change the DNS server address for your console, to one of Googles public DNS servers. It could be that your ISP are having issues with their DNS servers.

Give it a try and let us know how that goes.

I had the same problem. I went into network settings and turned off internet. Loaded RotTR and it got passed the main screen crash. It works.

There is actually a setting you can now change for this specifically that came in the June update.

Unfortunately I do not have a One to hand as I type this, so you're going to need to do some hunting for yourself to find it, but I can suggest where it might be and what you're looking for.

In Settings, it could be under Power & Startup (unlikely) or TV & OneGuide.

The setting is one that tells your console what signal to send your devices when you power it on or off. The settings are 'toggle' (which will turn the TV or set-top box on if it's off or off if it's on, regardless of whether you're turning the One on or
off) or to do nothing.

This does mean that you cannot use the One to turn the TiVo on, but at least the One will not be shutting it off.

Hey. I had the same issue. This is how I got around it (because it's still not fixed) :

Turn off your internet supply- wifi router, whatever. Off. Completely. Leave it off until this is done.

Hard reset your xbone. Hold power button down 10 seconds. Give it 30 seconds to breathe. Turn it back on.

It should be loading up regular, but with no internet. Now, go to settings- network- network settings- go offline. If it freezes going offline, hit the home button. Go back and check the go offline button again, but it should be already offline.

Now you're good to turn your internet back on. Play offline until all this blows over. Then go online. I just turned mine back on, but I think it's different for everyone.
