Internet dropping out on Xbox One X

Forgot to add I downloaded Net uptime Monitor thinking my internet was dropping out. It recorded one internet drop in over two hours of play set at the lowest setting of 1 second.

So it does not seem like the internet is "dropping" out when the in game signal drops and peaks.

you can create multiple accounts. Just sign out of the current profile, by pressing the Guide button on the controller (The one with the xbox logo) and then press X to sign out. When the profile is signed out, press X again and you should be able to select
create profile.

Be aware that currently a gold subscription is per account.

Regarding the dropping of internet, the only way to avoid this is to try and find the cause of the drop, it could be either the network at your home or even the internet provider. And if the cause is found try to find a more stable option.

Like if you are using a wireless network, try a wired connection to see if that makes a difference.

If the complete internet connection drops, so that it is not your home network, then you could try to find out if a different provider has a better connection.

Is your color depth option set higher than your TV can support? Go to
Settings > Video output.

Under "Video fidelity", you will see the "Color depth" and "Color space" options.

Color depth:

• If you have a Dolby Vision TV, set it to 36 bits per pixel (12-bit).
• If you have an HDR10-compatible TV, set it to 30 bits per pixel (10-bit).
• If your TV does not support HDR, set it to 24 bits per pixel (8-bit).

Color space:

• If you are on a TV, use Standard (recommended).
• If you are on a monitor, use PC RGB.

What is the point of buying an Xbox One X if you already own an Xbox One and have no intention of downloading the enhanced content?

All versions of the Xbox One will play the same games, so just stick with the console you have until you have the capability or desire for those 4K enhancements grabs you. By that point the One X would have likely seen a price drop, so you'll benefit financially
in the long run too.

Exactly.And the very reason I'm not getting a xbox one x yet.

In fact i'll pick up a xbox one s as the prices are already dropping & once the X comes out I bet the prices will drop even more

don't know how it would.. you have to unhook it from the internet though.. pull out the cable if u are hardwired.. don't drop your x-box cause that could harm it
