    Could you please try to disconnectyour external storage from the xbox and perform testing and see if the issue persist?

    There's a know issue with wifi connections working on 2.4Ghz channels and external usb 3.0 strorage on Xbox,

    Let's troubleshoot that and see if the problem could be there

    My storage box specifically sais on it to never turn on the Xbox without it plugged in? Should I still try it?
    Do you connect your Xbox wireless or wired? If wireless, do you connect your console to the 2,4 GHz band, or 5 GHz band?

    It could be ports
    on the router    , also, by any chance do you have any external device connected tu your xbox through USB port?
