Intermittent audio issue across dashboard, games and apps.

Thank you so much for the detailed information. I have checked the Xbox support page and with the recent update it seems to be a known issue:

"Some players have reported intermittent audio issues across the dashboard or when launching games or apps.

If you encounter this behavior, be sure to report this issue and choose the Report with advanced diagnostics option. Make sure to include information like audio setup, when this issue occurred, troubleshooting steps tried, and other relevant info."

Do you have the Xbox Insider App installed? If not, kindly install the app and then you can report the problem from there.

Hello steveR84, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your audio.

The easiest way to fix this would probably be to do a factory reset on the console and do not bring over previous settings or use the app while setting the console up again (this would require you to know the email/password for all accounts on the console). If you choose to try this method there is an option to keep your installed games so you won't need to redownload them and your saves will be safe on the Cloud.

However, Xbox is also aware of an issue with intermittent audio across games and apps. If you don't already have it installed please download the Xbox Insiders Hub and follow the instructions to Report a Problem with your Audio.

Are you a Dashboard Preview member? If so then you should report it via the Xbox Insider app reporting function.

This may be a controller/console issue as I too have been experiencing intermittent audio issues on my Turtle Beach XO4 Stealth headset. I noticed something interesting for one of those occasions that I had also streamed via Mixer. During playback of the
VOD, I noticed that the audio issues I had been hearing in the headset weren't present in the VOD so that leaves me thinking that Microsoft has some issue with the audio feed being sent from the console to the controller and/or chatpad headset jack.
