    Intermittent audio issue across dash board and apps


    Are the xbox technicians every gunna fix the intermittent audio issue across games and apps? It’s been an issue for over 2 years. I turn my xbox on, no sound, have to unplug and re plug my xbox. It happens randomly.

    Thank you so much for the detailed information. I have checked the Xbox support page and with the recent update it seems to be a known issue:

    "Some players have reported intermittent audio issues across the dashboard or when launching games or apps.

    If you encounter this behavior, be sure to report this issue and choose the Report with advanced diagnostics option. Make sure to include information like audio setup, when this issue occurred, troubleshooting steps tried, and other relevant info."

    Do you have the Xbox Insider App installed? If not, kindly install the app and then you can report the problem from there.

    I'm going to guess it's something to do with not having as many servers online as MS said they would. There are a lot of random errors happening for across the board. Not only in games, but on the "dash" with friends profiles not loading or other items
    just not opening. Also, the Smartglass app states items cannot load or not found. Good times...

    There was no update and it goes for everything that is from the xbox dash board to any game or app and then back to the dashboard as well.

    That's great to know that it's working now and yes, according to Xbox support on their recent update support site:

    "Some players have reported intermittent audio issues across the dashboard or when launching games or apps."
