Installing Rise of Iron

    Installing Rise of Iron


    I recently purchased Destiny: Rise of Iron from Gamestop but cannot download it on my Xbox One. I continue to get an error that "Query Failed: Could not establish connection to the Xbox Game Store. New Silver purchases will be made when you next sign in."

    My connectivity to the Game Store is fine and I am able to find the game on the site, but when I do, it says I can only purchase part of a bundle.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Can't buy Destiny: The Rise of Iron

    Im having the same problem.. I went to gamestop and bought Rise of iron for $30 and instead of getting rise of iron it gave me $30...??

    Gamestop does not usually sell codes for specific dlc content. What they usually offer is a code for currency that you can use to purchase the content separately.

    Please try logging in to commerce.microsoft.com and click on services and subscriptions to see if there is currency on your account. Just to be sure though, if you have the base game you could always highlight it on the dashboard and press the start button
    then choose manage game. From there go to ready to install to see if the dlc is listed.

    Please be aware that in order for the dlc to be downloaded and work you will need to have purchased the base game and all previous dlc.

    If you highlight Destiny in my games and apps, press menu (start) on the controller, select manage game and add-ons, in the ready to install should be rise of iron, select it and start the install.
