Installing ipv6

Have you made sure your router is capable of ipv6 .

Try resetting your router . Or on a pc or laptop log into your router and check your settings. Last resort call your isp provider get them to check your settings 👍

you need more information about installing IPv6, try to contact your Internet Service Provider because they always turn IPv6 disabled as default. If you still don't have IPv6, your modem unfortunately dosen't support IPv6.

Here’s how to check:

1. On your controller, Press the Xbox button
   
   
   to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > Network.
   
3. Select Network settings.

If your Xbox One has IPv6 connectivity, your Current Network Status will read
IPv4 & IPv6. (To see your actual IP and gateway addresses, select
Advanced settings.)

IPv6 is not something you can manually put on xbox. IPv6 is used by some providers because of a lack of IPv4 addresses.

Talk to your ISP about enabling IPv6 as well as IPv4 on your network hardware. There are advantages for playing multiplayer games with IPv6 connectivity.

Check the age of your network hardware. It may need updating to a newer model and/or version of hardware.
