Installing games takes forever why ?

Anyone know why it takes forever to install games took over 5 hr to install Dead Rising no i just got COD Ghost and it has been sitting at 0% install for like 5 min already

it takes me forever to install games to my XB1.

It takes forever to find a game, that's why I've only played like 4 games.

 

Because they will download the update/patch first, before installing from Disc. The DR3 patch is 13GIGS!!! so depending on your network and ISP that may take you overnight, then it will start installing from disc.

 

Thanks BusGod I didn't know it install patches first thought it was installing game first i got DR3 done now i'm installing COD Ghost man it takes forever i download games on my steam account a lot faster.

This is freaking slam on xbox. It should never take this long for a disc based game to install. Especially since they make you install it. I like putting my game in and playing it. That's the whole purpose of getting the disc. I feel they are making
you pay for the counter of doing just download only debate. Get it fixed xbox or im buying a playstation 4 and it looks like you really can't afford that. I want to be loyal but this is not needed.

 

Its the games patches that your installing that's what takes so long.

You have to install the patches before you can play the game.
