Installing Games Before Playing

Is there any info on either Microsoft allowing us to use external hard drives to store our games because my hard drive is almost full since they make us install the games now before we can play them or getting rid of this way of doing it and just letting
us put the disc in and play right then instead of having to wait and wait for the install to finish? For some reason when I trry to install games it literally takes anywhere from 4-10 hours to just install the game before I can even play it.

It is very common for games even single player ones to require updates to fix issues or add new features If you are are able to I would say it is best to take the update.

You may wish to try putting your console offline mode hopefully this will stop it trying to take the updates.

I recently purchased Dishonored 2 for the Xbox One. Upon trying to install said game, the Xbox told me to go online and update it before playing. Now, I think Dishonored 2 is an offline, single player game, and thought this might be an error with the console
or there might be a way around it. I ask because I do not want to go over my data allowance and so would prefer not to update.

Yeah Ive waited a whole 24 hours so far and still cant play my dead rising 3.....this is a load of crap and Im not going to continue to wait this long to play a game. They better do something quick because Im not happy with this 600 dollar machine.
