    Installing from disc, Manage Queue has blank transfer details


    I'm installing a game from disc (Close to the Sun), second installation of the day, same thing happened to the other game, and there are no transfer details under the Manage Queue section.

    Normally when I install from disc, I get a 'this game needs an update' message, which I got and okayed. I would then go into my games and apps to see how big it is, how much it's downloading, etc.

    But today, for these two games, when I go in there it shows Installing, then below that picture and title of the game, but nothing else - no transferring from disc numbers, no downloading numbers, no progress etc. Just the title.

    So the only way I can look at the progress of the installation is to open the Guide, where it does show that it's installing at x%.

    It should be possible, I transferred all my installed games from internal to external drive.

    When you go to the details of installed game, there should be option to copy or move games. Move is what you want to do.

    Unfortunately you have to do it for each game separately, although you can queue them for move.

    Are you trying to queue installs? You should be able to queue installs, but the game won't launch without the disc in.

    3. Game pass and Microsoft Store games don't install at all. The queue is updated but it only appears a blank square with no information. Another strange thing that happens is that this blank square appears as an app and not as a game.
    With this issue here, I have this happen occassionally too where something will go in the queue and then just be a blank square and nothing happens. It might be different for GPU but for games, I'll go back in the queue and cancel the installation, then
    go back and try to reinstall the game again and usually this will work and it will start intalling fine. Maybe see if you can cancel the queue and then try again? Good luck, and yes, definitely contact Support if this doesn't work.

    instead of playing the game press x before you select play game. Then on disc details install the game if it installs there shouldn't be a problem with the disc. if it can't install the disc has a problem and you will need to buy a new disc.

    Manage game didn't do it for me, but when disc 2 was in, from the dashboard, I chose Install Disc and it started installing
