Installing Batman Arkham City

I purchased the above game from Amazon (as new) but unfortunately when installing the game at the end of the installation (but before being allowed into the game) it goes through the Release Date Check and comes up with the message "Release date check failed".

I googled the problem and that you have to download Steam and then simply 'Add Game' and add in your Authentication Code - I've done this but it states 'Invalid Product Code'

It seems this has happened to many others(?) but I'm reading so many different and confusing statements on this - it seems that you're suppose to contact XBox live directly? Though this is the only way of contact I can find for them.I'd really appreciate
it anyone could provide some clarification on this so I can play the game, or an email address of who to contact (this has been impossible to find on the XBox site)?

Anyone not enjoy it as much as Asylum?

Batman Arkham City was better than Arkham Asylum in practically every way a video game could outdue its predacessor.
Batman Arkham City is the best Batman video game ever created IMO.
