    installing arcade games from compilation discs


    I was not able to get the Xbox One BC supported games on the following disc to work

    Sonics UGC ( Ultimate Genesis Collection )

    Sonic the hedgehog

    Sonic the hedgehog 2

    Sonic the hedgehog 3

    Golden Axe

    are examples

    The actual disk stated not playable and will not open or start

    Namco Museum Virtual Arcade ,

    Did see and install:

    Pacman

    Ms Pacman

    Pacman ce

    Dig Dug

    Galaga Original

    The rest that are in the Xbox One BC list are not seen and installed.

    Any Ideas?

    compilation discs

    I have some compilation discs which are Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged, Xbox Live Arcade Compilation Disc, and Pop Cap Arcade Vol. 2. Most games on these discs are backward compatible on Xbox One; however, when the disc is inserted it only installs one game.
    On Unplugged 4 of the 6 games are compatible, Compilation 3 of the 5 games are, and Vol 2 all 3 games are. Why does it only install one? It should recognize which games are compatible and install them.

    Disregard after a console reboot and disc re inserted. The games were recognized from discs and installed.

    i think i have it worked out now,it was an arcade compilation disc i was trying to remove and the game saves were somewhere else,thats why i couldn`t find them.

    Minecraft Does not work on my xbox30 but It does in another one

    Minecraft cannot be installed from disc (it's an arcade game, and they cannot be installed from disc). Give the disc a clean with a soft lint free cloth and try seeing if you can play the game on the console. Hopefully that will help.
