    Installing apps is really difficult on my xbox one s


    This problem does not affect my games. When installing or updating an app on my xbox it will update at a speed of 5-22 kbps which is much slower than normal. This does not affect the progress bar at all. After doing this for twenty minutes to an hour it
    will actually start updating. My network speed moves to 3 mbps which is normal. This does change the progress bar and the update can finally begin. I was wondering how to stop this from happening?

    Yep, I’ve bought a new Xbox One S instead of old one for my 4K-tv and most of the apps won't install. Stops right at the beginning. Reset didn’t help.

    For me it’s 0x80072f8f

    Really annoying.

    When does the xbox one x get the avatar editor update?

    Is her One S enrolled in the Insider Program? She may not be but if the console was pre owned by someone who is in the insider program and the avatar beta app is installed, she will have it.

    Xbox One original, Xbox One S and Xbox One X all can install the avatar beta app, it is not console specific. Check the Insider Hub App and enroll if it shows up for your ring.

    Yes, The console is up to date.. and yes I've tried install it remotely but same thing

    I've tried using game pass app and xbox app to install it, I've tried hard restart, changing language and region, Resetting with keeping games and apps, using another account, but all failed to fix the issue.

    My opinion is that somehow the store is mistaken and trying to install the series S/X version in my xbox one console, perhaps there's a bug making the store thinking this is series s and when I try to install the game it realizes that this is not compatible, but won't install the Xbox one version of the game as the store thinks this is series s

    But it's just my opinion and most likely I'm wrong
