Installing an Xbox (1st Xbox) game unsuccessful

Hi Microsoft team,

I have a problem: I bought on Saturday 1st September on my Xbox 360 the star wars battlefront 2 game which was available for the first Xbox console. Trade was successful. But everytime I try to install it it breaks up at 90% or even 100% saying it can't
be installed. But I have a hard drive in my Xbox 360 S so I wonder now, if it's compatible or if not how I can get my money back

i cant get to play call of duty keeps freezin or goin to the black screen ??

1st off xbox isnt compatible with ps3. Try clearing your cache or installing the game. Can you let me know how this goes. Thanks.

There is currently a service alert related to purchases would could be a reason it's not working. You'd want to try again after that alert is up.

Some games on the Xbox 360 do need to be installed 1st to play them. It should state on the back of the case whether or not the game will need to be installed.

Usually with xbox one games, if you install the game for the 1st time, then if any patches are available then they download automatically with the game too.

I did the first link which was unsuccessful. As was repairing the Gaming Services, Xbox App and MS Store (all 3 repaired and reset).

I then tried the second link that you listed and deleted the WindowsApps folder on the drive that I'm trying to install on. I am now getting this error 0x80242020 as soon as the I hit the Install button in the Xbox app. I'm not sure what that error is.

Issue: Saves will not load

Description: I bough a digital version of the game with the season pass. I had no issues to report until the 1.03 patch hit. After that patch, I started having issues with my saved files not loading. The menu will progress to the point where it lets me select
a save and the system tries to load a save. It will show half to three-quarters of the loading progression bar and then it sends me back to the Xbox home dashboard.

Solutions tried:

- Hard Power cycle (removing Power cord (unsuccessful)

- uninstall / reinstall (unsuccessful)

- wiping local save files (unsuccessful)

- trying to get the game to run on my second xbox one (unsuccessful)

- loading a much earlier save (successful - but the saves from that game have the same issues)

I tried simply saving over a file (unsuccessful) & deleting a file to make space and saving into an empty space (unsuccessful).

I really like the game when it works, but I'm bummed out that I cannot enjoy the game on my downtime/days off.
