Installing All Mech Unlock bundle for Hawken uninstalls Hawken base game and vice versa

Title says it all.

My brother recently gifted me the Unlock All Mechs bundle for Hawken {Yes I know it's old but we still have a great time playing it). I redeemed the code and tried to install the bundle. Went to play the game and couldn't find it. Looked in my library and saw that I had to install the game. Went ahead and installed the game and started it only to find no mechs unlocked except the few I have already unlocked.

Went back into my library and choose to manage the game and addons, and saw that the addon bundle wasn't installed. Installed the addon, only to have the main game uninstall. Back and forth about a dozen or so time. Tried installing to my consoles internal drive instead of the external HD I use. That didn't work. Tried powercycling the console. That didn't work.

I'm at a loss at this point. So far, it's worked for my brother, although he had to install the game twice now, once when he first installed the addon and again the following night when he got back on the game. Both times after reinstalling he had all the mechs unlocked, although he had two copies of each mech and every mech.

Any help would be appreciated as to what could be going on. I hate to think my brother wasted money.

I'll recommend you do a power cycle to clear the system cache

- Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

- Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.

If that doesn't help, I'll suggest you try doing a factory reset keeping games and apps on your console. This will refresh the console and remove all potential bugs without deleting any game data.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

- Select Reset console.

- Choose Keep Games and Apps

Once that is done, you'll need to sign into the console using your Microsoft account credentials. If the issue is with your console, that should fix it.

Bring back Mech Assault .....fantastic game or at least get Hawken running on the X 1, the world needs more Mech games.
