hi, i purchased call of duty: ghosts digital full game download for both consoles(bought it at walmart) it says i can redeem it for xbox one as well...and play it..only thing is.i dont know how to redeem it for xbox one, i already redeemed it for xbox 360,but
it says to go to your collection and install it on xbox one, i dont see collection, and its not in the "Ready To Install" tab either. how do i redeem the code for my xbox one.

Max,

Have you tried uninstalling those affected games, then power cycling, then re-installing those games to see if that resolves the issue? You shouldn't have to unplug the power supply, just wait 30 seconds after the power cycle process turns off the console.
If this with both digital and disc-based games?

Also, will doing this method allow for both consoles to play together on a single digital downloaded game?

Since that game is not backwards compatible, it wouldn't show in your ready to install tab. Check the card to make sure there isn't a second code for the One version. Or try checking the game in the marketplace to see if it shows as Free.

You can install a disc game on as many consoles you wish, but to play on both consoles at the same time you need either two discs or digital license for one of the machines.

Stuart is correct. There are Xbox Games (For the Xbox Consoles) and Xbox Games for Windows. Play Anywhere titles are digital purchases that give you a license for both. You can purchase, download, and install Xbox Games for Windows on your computer.
You cannot play Xbox Games for Console, either digital or physical disks, on PC.

Internet Expert

You should be able to swap your external drive between consoles without any problem, as long as your profile is on both consoles (the profile will matter for running digitally purchased games already installed on the HDD).
