    XBOX tried to access x1.c.lencr.org

Thank you for contact us! I'm Anderson, an Independent Consultant and a Microsoft user like you.

    good afternoon

It looks like x1.c.lencr.org is a domain used by Microsoft for various purposes, including as a hostname for its Azure Cloud infrastructure. It's possible that your console is trying to access this domain for a legitimate reason, such as to check for updates or to connect to an online service.

If your ISP is flagging this domain as suspicious, it could be because the domain is known to be used by malicious actors for phishing or other types of online scams. It's possible that your console has been compromised by malware that is attempting to access this domain for nefarious purposes.

To check for and remove any malware from your console, you can try the following steps:

Disconnect your console from the internet.

Go to "Settings" > "System" > "Console info" > "Reset console". Choose the "Reset and remove everything" option. This will erase all data and installed games from your console, but it will also remove any malware that may be present.

After the reset is complete, reconnect your console to the internet and install any updates that are available.

Consider using a reputable antivirus software to scan your console and protect it from future malware infections.

    I hope this helps!

    malware on xbox one s?

Its possible to get malware or any other sort of malicious software on virtually any device. That's why its always advised to do things from a computer or a phone with good anti-virus protections installed. Your console is most likely fine, simply visiting
a suspicious website isn't enough... often times you would have needed to download something or open something in a pop-up menu.

Go ahead and clear all your browsing data to be on the safe-side on the Xbox's internet browser. You should be fine. In the future try and do all searching on a computer that's less likely to affected from malware attacks.

Error 0x800700aa when installing Gears 5 Ultimate Edition

It's definitely not malware. This is a new laptop and the only thing installed on here are games in Steam, Origin, Epic Game Store, and Xbox (Beta).

For AV software, I'm using Windows Defender. I would assume Microsoft's Xbox (Beta) client plays nice with its own AV software.

I find it odd that I can install other games in Xbox (Beta), but not Gears 5.

I'll try the SFC Scan, as my suspicion is that there is some issue with the fact that I had the game installed before. Maybe there's a corrupted or broken file from the prior installation that's still floating around somewhere.
