Installations and updates get stuck and won’t continue.

Hi everyone

So i’ve noticed that installing a game by disc seems to work until it says that it need to update. And this is where it all goes wrong. The update maybe makes it to 14% then it just stops and soon enough i get a message saying that there’s a problem updating this game. And when i try to continue the update its only “updating…” nothing else, and everything is stuck. Apps I have no problem with. They update their selves with no problem.

I’ve tried doing the power cycle thingy, downloading offline, and all that. But NOTHING WORKS.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

We may need to install the game digitally. Please follow the steps below:

1. Cancel the installation and remove the disc.

2. Perform a powercycle on your console.

A. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

B. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

3. Launch Xbox app on your phone and search for the game.

4. Click the game and choose "Download to Console"

5. Wait for the game to install completely before inserting the disc to play it.

Hi Kim, Yes this is the only game and I have no pending updates and the power shell command didn’t work either, I press install in the app and it redirects me to Ubisoft connect installation, after it’s installed the game is stuck on preparing, it won’t install.

I am having a similar issue to Averscer's,

I installed the game, download speed was fine, finally opened it and it was stuck at the "Loading Story Mode for ______" screen with the girl in the red bikini. The circle continued to spin, and the tips on the side of the screen continued to update. I quit
the game and restarted the xbox, and encountered the same issue. After uninstalling and reinstalling the game, I am again getting stuck at the same screen. What else should I do to get this to work?

This is getting ridiculous--it will not install the update/game. Stuck at 98%...

Thank you for advice . I’ve now managed to install ark but it the old version, had to install off line . Put Xbox 1 back online to do update and it won’t it won’t update .
