Installation stopped appears while trying to reinstall games on my new console

Check the status of Xbox. If there are any services with alerts, expand that service, scroll down to Notifications, and sign in to receive a message when the service is back up and running.

Update your console. If you see a "Download stopped" error, you may need to install an update before the download can complete.

To see if an update is available, press the Xbox button  to open the Guide, then select Profile & system > Settings > System > Updates.

Check the space on your hard drive.

Check your Xbox console notifications to make sure you have enough space on your hard drive to install the content.

To do this, press the Xbox button  to open the Guide, then select the Notifications icon.

Delete local saved games. If you're trying to install an Xbox game from a disc and the installation process stops at or near 0%, this may be because the console is trying to download an update for the game while installing it.

To delete local saved games, follow these steps:

Remove the disk from the console.
Press the Xbox button  to open the Guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage devices.

Select Delete Locally Saved Games.
Change DNS servers.

If you have tried all the steps above and are still having problems, you can try changing the DNS servers on your console. To do so, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button  to open the Guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > Network & Internet.

Select Advanced Network Settings.

Select DNS.

Select Manual.

Enter the following DNS servers:

Primary: 8.8.8.8
Secondary: 8.8.4.4
Select Save.

I uninstalled and have been trying to reinstall for the past 2 hours and I only got to 52% and its completely stopped and and says installation stopped while the disk is in the console. Ive tried force shutting down my console and that didnt work, and I
kept trying to force to continue the installation and even that doesnt work so Im out of ideas and completely *** off now.

When a game asks to be updated, the size that the update will take appears. Just to be clear, is the game installed and asking to update when trying to play?

Reinstalling the game made no difference? Have you also tried resetting the console to factory defaults while keeping games and apps?

Hi all, having a similar issue. When I try to play Fifa 15 which I have played for a while, it says ' installation stopped.' An error screen appears saying that the game appears to be corrupt with the error code x80070570. When I re-launch the installation,
it appears that there is nothing left to download as the game says ' ready to play'. However shortly after, 'installation stopped' appears again with the same error screen. Please help! Very frustrating.
