Installation stalled at 66% for last 12 hours

I downloaded Modern Warfare for my Xbox One and it's showing that all of the game packs have downloaded fine but the installation has stalled so I can't play the campaign mode or co-op. Does anyone know how to resolve? Thanks.

usually when game installs stall or pause themselves automatically, it means you need to clear up the necessary space in your storage. Try clearing some space MW is a massive install. good luck!

Hi there,

As others have stated, managing your storage is a good idea, as well as attempting to pause the installation via
My Games and Apps. Make sure that you have a solid internet connection, with nobody else on the network and resume the download, to see if that improves things.

My only other bit of advice, would be to start the installation again. If your game packs are installed fine, then just delete the game itself. You can do this by going into
My Games and Apps > Queue > Press Menu on the game installation and choose
Manage Games and Add Ons.

You should see the installed content straight away, and the main game title. Press
Menu on this and select Cancel. It should be moved to the Ready to Install section (on the left hand side), so navigate there and restart it.

This is a bit long winded, but may work, if the games continues not to install. Let us know how it goes!

Try a factory reset to see if the download restarts.

I like the idea of canceling the download and retrying. Let me fire up the XBox up and see where it is at now and I'll report back. Thanks for responding. I'll keep you posted. Getting more upset as I see all the commercials about Modern Warfare.
