Installation process stuck@20% then installation stopped

Same issue! Attempting to update game... Installation stops for unknown reason. Stuck at 20% Game needs to finish installing or show ready to start before it can be launched. Try to update again. Item attempts to install and stops again at 20%. @xboxlive

Thank you for trying. Let's reinstall the Gaming Services app on your Windows device:
Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
Restart your device.

Don't forget to check for Windows updates and get all available updates from the Microsoft Store.

If the above solutions don't work, try to run the system file checker, clear the Store cache and reset/repair both Xbox app & Microsoft Store.

Clear Microsoft Store cache: Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.

Thanks for the advice! I was trying to install the game from the xbox app. Unfortunately the advice you gave did not fix the problem as it is not installing still. It also shows that it is queued while there is nothing else downloading.

Where exactly do you see the game installing? From Microsoft Store app or Xbox app?

Try to simply enable airplane mode then wait at least a minute before disabling it back and connect to your network.

Don't forget to try to shutdown your PC and then turn on.
