    Install freezes at 45%


    My game will not install. I've tried 2 different discs, both brand new straight from the package.

    1) reset xbox, try install - fail

    2) try install offline - fail

    3) factory reset try install - fail

    4) clear blu-ray persistent data, reset alternate mac address try offline install - fail.

    5) Tried a different game disc - fail.

    There are no problems with either disc (both brand new, opened from package) and I've tried both discs with multiple resets, clearing of caches, install offline, etc....

    call of duty don't work.

    hello everyone, when i install call of duty ghost on xbox always freezes at 45/50%. I tried to turn off the console, I tried to change my disc at the store (2 times). all other games go, but call of duty is never, both offline and online. why? my blue ray
    player is broken?

    Wolfenstein the new order won't install

    I had same issue. First install stopped at 35%. Second install stopped at 49%. Third install stopped at 45%. The only solution that worked was to download the game from Live. Thank you guys for the help !

    Alarming Number of Freezes.

    About 45 hours, 0 freezes. Not installed and playing on a recently purchased reburshed elite.

    Has the new patch (1.05) changed the game DRAMATICALLY better?

    Before I installed the game I would get random game freezes and stuck in doorways every 35-45 minutes of gameplay. Has nothing to do with the patch(since it was downloaded upon purchase) Since Ive installed the game i have experienced ) issues

    Yes this is normal. installing the game from the disc or from the market place will take up the same amount of space because that's just how big the game itself is. The only reason you would need a disc after installing the game to your hard drive is because
    the disc carries the license, and buying the game from the market place, the license is attached to your XBOX Live/Microsoft account.

    ill take halo as an example, must be down to network speeds also as halo can install from scratch, including the update in 45 minutes, near enough 60GB in 45 minutes, now that is not bad at all.
