    Install at 1217% has downloaded 264gb overnight??


    Hi

    Game shows install at 1217%, but when go to the game menu shows Campaign, Hoarde etc at 55%.

    This is the secound attempt to install the game, have tried to install from disc on internet, have tried with internet both stop at 55% installing (in game menu).

    My biggest concern is the amount of data used 264gb last night!!, if i was not on a unlimted broadband package i could have been looking at large bill for the extra data used.

    Need some advise please, otherwise £42 wasted on a game that does not even install!!

    Can't Launch Quantum Break.

    Did you install from disk, or was this a digital download? Did you install an update at the same time as the initial game install? Did you install the episodes after the game?

    I had troubles with this one originally. I installed from a disk, launched it, closed it out, then downloaded the updates, then downloaded the episodes. Installing from the disk and downloading the updates at the same time broke the install for me.

    Xbox has gone Apple

    The only console currently being made that doesn't require games to be installed or downloaded is the Nintendo Switch, that's it.

    Perhaps gaming isn't for you, maybe take up knitting, it has no downloads or installs at all.

    Sorry to hear it. It may be an issue with the download and install that has corrupted the download. I have a couple of suggestions for you:

    1. Highlight the game and press the Start button then choose Manage Game and Uninstall it then try again. Leave the console on overnight to speed up the download.

    2. Do step 1 but instead of downloading the game, if you have a friend who has the game on a disc have them loan you the disc so you can install directly from the disc.

    Installing games takes forever why ?

    Because they will download the update/patch first, before installing from Disc. The DR3 patch is 13GIGS!!! so depending on your network and ISP that may take you overnight, then it will start installing from disc.
