Insignificant issue but recent captures shared from the Xbox Series X | S still show Xbox...

Xbox series x. There is so much documentation about this issue, no-one has a solution (apart from streaming on twitch, saving the vod and then editing the video). Compared with my xbox one captures, taken well over a year ago, they are awful, choppy, stuttering messes. This is not a problem on my end, this is a problem with the xbox series x capture system. The fact captures are STILL terrible is a joke, given the series x was released over 18 months ago.

No such thing as an Xbox One Series X. The Xbox One family of consoles has an S and an X but are still just Xbox Ones. You need the Series family of consoles. The Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. These are different from Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

The "One" and "Series" are the console types.

Funny how I haven't had this issue on my xbox one x ever but when I go on my xbox series S then it just starts having the lag spike issues with my captures.

It's been a recent issue the past month or so...I have noticed the same thing with my Series X. I would need to double-check but I would say it coincided with one of the September Updates...the early September update had altered code when it comes to captures with the addition of the jump into the game on cloud from a shared capture feature so I suspect it's likely related to that

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues uploading your files to OneDrive. It appears from the error code you posted that you have disabled your capture/share feature. To see if you can turn them on, please follow the instructions below.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide

Select Profile & system > Settings > Preferences

Select Capture & share > Allow game captures

If it's still not working, please completely logoff from your Xbox by pressing the Xbox button, select Profile & system, and then select Sign out to sign out and back in.

In addition, please ensure that your privacy settings to upload on Xbox live is configured properly. Here are the steps:

Log in to Xbox Settings and sign in your account.

In the navigation tabs, click Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety

Select Allow for You can upload captures to Xbox Live

Click Submit.
