    Insider Hub, may have fried 2 of my Xbox X consoles.


    So I’ve been a part of the insider hub since before the one X was even a thing. I had it on my day one edition, no problems, (turned my wife into a gamer) bought a new model console for my self and passed the Day1 to her, insider preview Beta at this point, still never a problem, kids grew up became gamers I bought the one X and passed the older down to my kids. Couple of months 4K HDMI goes in it, I call up Xbox with warranty the take and fix it, I play for almost six month no issues, realize I forgot to DL the hub, I install it, updates and do some quests. Couple of months go by and the damn 4K HDMI goes again. (I did try many other cables from top end to low end brands) Xbox wouldn’t fix it so it’s sitting here gathering dust right now. I went and bought another One X, this time I’ve been avoiding the hub, and I’m just over six months and so far no issues.

    When does the xbox one x get the avatar editor update?

    Is her One S enrolled in the Insider Program? She may not be but if the console was pre owned by someone who is in the insider program and the avatar beta app is installed, she will have it.

    Xbox One original, Xbox One S and Xbox One X all can install the avatar beta app, it is not console specific. Check the Insider Hub App and enroll if it shows up for your ring.

    Not at all, but I have went to a local gameXchange store and gamestop and they think the popping sound is where the power source inside my series x could've fried.
