    Insider Beta: Games Home causing severe issues on One X


    Hi all,

    (I have left feedback in the Hub too with a screenshot...)

    Today both Forza Horizon 4 and Modern Warfare have had updates, I sent to check on them since I noticed that GTA V was having severe connection/in game framerate drops and found the MW update was crawling by. (40mbps on a 500+mbps connection over Ethernet)



    The update screen is *very* slow, often just sitting on the loading screen, I have had such a bad day on Xbox that when I finally got the updates screen to load, I cancelled the updates. The console then decided to delete ALL the game data for both Modern Warfare and Forza Horizon 4, they've disappeared from the dashboard completely.



    I found FH4 and tried to download again in the hopes it would find the content but nope, started again downloading the entire game afresh.

    At this stage, it's reporting a measly 1 (ONE!???) mbps and the dash is once again very slow.



    I am not a happy bunny, yes this is a beta but this is beyond a mess and by far the most broken I have seen the dash in a long time...

    Well it didn't solve it for me. Perosonally I'm on:

    - Xbox One X with Insiders programme

    - Xbox beta for PC

    I've reviewed the privacy settings on my Xbox but didn't solve my issue for any of the platforms. I'm beginning to wonder if it could be the insiders programme thats the cause of this issue?

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Is the Xbox One X enrolled in the

    Xbox Insider Program    ? The Xbox Insider program usually sends updates to a console that could cause issues. This is due to the Xbox Insider consoles receiving a beta version of the operating system. There is an article entitled

    I Need Help With System Updates on my Xbox One     that is able to assist with any system update issues. Be sure to let us know the results!

    Only game i know of that is causing issues at the moment is COD Modern Warfare.

    If you are a Xbox Insider on the Alpha or Beta then you might also get some issue.
