    We downloaded the digital code for Dark Souls 1 onto our xbox, but when we tried to play it we were told to insert the disc. I can't believe we would be sold software that can't work. There were several steps to take listed but none of them had any effect
    on our problem. Please, we need help

    My XB1 sometimes doesn't read discs...

    Mine will do that too ("insert disc"), or it will sometimes say "make sure your disc is clean". I'm hoping it goes away.

    Question about owning a physical disc that is BC

    As soon as you insert the disc 1 the full download of the game should start automatically, then it would require only to have that disc inserted in order to play.

    What steps have you taken?

    If you've yet do a power cycle, let's try .

    • First: Hold down the power button on the front of your console for 10 seconds.
    • Then remove the power cable, and networking cable from the back of your console.
    • Next: Wait 30 seconds.
    • Then: Power up your console.

    If that doesn't work, let's remove your profile:

    • Go Settings
    • All settings
    • Account
    • Remove your account
    • Then hard reset the console by holding the power button on the front for 10 seconds
    • Then turn on the console, and sign in again.

    Xbox One Ate My Game Disc

    The system will not allow a second disc to be inserted. If there is no disc engaged within the tray, then it'll allow you to insert a disc. If you're able to insert another disc, NBA 2K15 is not in your system.

    It's not going to magically insert a disc for you. It's telling you to insert a disc so it'll have something to show you.

    im recently a new owner of Forza Motorsport 4 2 disc collecters edition, Disc 2 WILL NOT install. i follow the steps that r on screen and do wahts prompted too me. i insert disc 2 like im told, an it say insert DISC 2 so i eject disc 2 and reinsert it ,and
    it again say insert disc 2 remove disc one. Disc one is not in the tray disc 2 is. so waht should i do?

    about the optic unit

    Holding the disc is the ONLY WAY the console plays any disc, if I insert it normally sends a message saying that is not a game disc. When I insert a music CD it is normal, when I insert a DVD it is normal, I got to do the holding thing only for games.
