    Initiate advanced exchange on Xbox Series X


    Like a lot of people my Xbox Series X that I fought really hard to get is broken. I was finally able to get support to respond but they keep trying to call me when I am working. The support rep mentions in the email that advanced exchange is an option
    but there doesnt appear to be any way to initiate that online. How do I do that?

    Unless the Advanced Exchange they send you is a refurbished brick that doesn't even get past the initial mandatory update.

    Ideally xbox series x games will run on xbox one and the series x indefinitely. I remember seeing that the game's would work on both consoles initially.

    I have also initiated a advance exchange, do suggest everyone with the same problem do the same once the external hdd compatibility update comes out.

    Advanced Exchange

    The Advanced Exchange is a great option. When you receive your replacement console, you will want to immediately pack up your broken console and return it ASAP, following the instructions included in the replacement package.

    You would be charged the price of a console IF Microsoft does not receive your broken console within the specified time-frame. Unless you tampered with your console, you won't have any issues. In the event they determine you have tampered with the console,
    and thus voided the warranty, they would simply return your defective machine, and expect you to return the replacement they sent you. My guess is that you have not tampered with the console, so no worries. :)
