My primary account alias is an obsolete email address inherited from an earlier messenger ID. It is no longer a valid email address, but I have no wish to change it as a login ID. At one point, a login ID could not be changed, but there used to be a setting
on my Live account where a valid email address could be supplied. That is where my emails were going to until this recent change.

It appears that you have recently adjusted my details incorrectly and assumed that my account alias login ID is actually my email address. I have updated my billing info to reflect the correct one.

Unable to connect to LIVE Messenger

Are you able to sign into Windows Live Messenger from a PC?

From what I researched about that error code, some people have been able to resolve it by going to
Sign in to your Microsoft account and logging into there using their WLID. From there, click Messenger at the top of the page, and you should come across a page where you have to accept the Terms of Use for Windows Live
Messenger. Hit I Agree, and then try signing into Messenger on your console again. Hopefully that works!

I also have an old account created on hotmail.com in 2001 my rewards have in deposited at all since I signed into the program a year ago and I have 116,000 credits in limbo despite my billing info being correct

When you open Windows Live Messenger and try to sign in you receive this error message which prevents you from signing in to the service. If you are successful with signing in the service repeatedly disconnects from the Internet.

Xbox Live Gold is not a subscription to allow access to Netflix, RedBox, HBOGo, ESPN, etc. In each case, you must have a subscription to that service already, but having a Gold subscription just allows you to use those services on your Xbox. For instances,
if you receive ESPN on your cable service, then you can view the EPSN content on your Xbox as well. If you don't have HBO, then you can't use the HBOGO app on your Xbox.
