    Hey folks, i recently got an xbox series X, im looking to pre order the vault edition of call of duty mw2, it says it comes with the cross gen package that includes a copy of the game for xbox one and the new gen xbox series x/s, we actually have an xox one in the house as well as an xbox series X, does this mean our son can play the game on the xbox one as well as me playing on the series X?

    I am a game pass ultimate subscriber too and they dont currently get access on their console to the games as i changed my home console to the series x so would be nice if he had access to this game too!

    Hi Elemental, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    This means that in one purchase you can have both versions which you can play both on your Xbox one console as well as on your Xbox Series X. If you will be purchasing just the Xbox Series X|S version, you will not be able to play on Xbox One console because it's not compatible.

    In order for your son to play the game, you need to set your account as Home Xbox on the Xbox One. I would recommend this if other profiles are using the Xbox One console in that way they can access your games as well as your subscriptions.
