Incorrect XBOX activity reporting under Parental Control

We manage our son's XBOX usage using parental control screen time. I've noticed about a month ago that the activity being reported is almost double the time that he was actually on the XBOX. (I know he is not sneaking in extra time as he doesn't know
how to grant screen time and we would see and hear him on the XBOX.) Under apps it shows he was on for 15 hr 10 mins but screen time total is 29 hr 27 min. 15 hrs is closer to the real time spent. How do I fix this? Apps and games (2) Change restrictions

Hi - I am experiencing similar with my son. As well as incorrect screen time reporting it seems that the day of the week is inaccurate as well. Also the limits don't seem to apply at all, as he is allowed 2 hours per day but nothing seems able to stop him
from racking up many more hours.

Have been advised to remove the profile from the console and re-add. Will try that this weekend.

Hi, I would advise you to reset this problem by resetting, there thos been some cases besides your to report this. Reported in the feedback hub and here

Does he leave the console running at the menu screen (so he isn't playing but the console is left on)? I'm not sure if there is a way to modify logs once they have taken place (which it sounds like your asking if it is possible). Or is your question
how do you adjust what limits should be in the future if it is counting console time on as usage?

Sorry for the issue with the reports. This has been an issue with some where it is showing double. However if he is still signed in when the console is on, it could be counting that time as screen time. They are investigating as to why there been issues
with double of the time. Have your child turn the console off completely when done. Also does he sign in on a PC or anything with the account he uses on the Xbox?
