    Incorrect Warranty Info cant get a call back


    Hello,

    I am having a nightmare speaking to support, my Xbox elite 2 controller has faulty bumpers . Its under warranty but the information is incorrect I cant raise a RMA

    I try the call me option and it wont accept mobile numbers, this is ridiculous as there's no other way of getting in touch.

    Thats what it was. I knew it was some sort of period but my computer was being stupid and wouldent let me search for it, Sorry for the incorrect info :)

    Yes, the agent was incorrect. As stated above, the error code indicates a purchasing problem. Go to billing.microsoft.com and ensure that the credit card info is the same as account info. If your nephew's account was used as a parent account and he does
    not live with you, this may indeed be the problem.

    You will have to call support back again and ask to speak with billing to rectify the issue.

    Invalid warranty date

    to get a phone call go to https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us and click the contact us button.

    choose Family and online safety as the category and I want to protect my account as the topic.

    skip the Covid 19 notification and scroll to the bottom of the contact options to request a call.

    you could also contact Target to see if they will replace the console under warranty as the retailer also has a duty to the customer.

    you can check the warranty status at https://account.microsoft.com/devices/

    check that your Xbox is registered as it will give an incorrect warranty status if it isn't registered
