Incorrect tenure on Xbox live profile

Discus and support Incorrect tenure on Xbox live profile in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Does anyone know how this is calculated as my brother in law and myself have noticed that both of our gamertags show less time than what we have had...     Incorrect tenure on Xbox live profile


    Does anyone know how this is calculated as my brother in law and myself have noticed that both of our gamertags show less time than what we have had xbox live gold for.

    My brother in law has had gold since the February after the 360 came out and i got it the following year in Jun but we have the same age.

    Still, still not receiving tenure for Xbox Community Level. Still not able to access the Ambassador forums.

    Saw,

    Gold is unrelated to ambassador tenure (in fact there are silver member ambassadors). Your tenure on the XCL website (with the ambassabank etc) is related to your time as an active ambassador. That tenure and xp gained on tribute to your overall levelling
    up as an ambassador.

    There has been a bug since the new site was launched meaning tenure there hasn't been increasing (but it is still tracked). So no one has been able to level up - the profile deletion and own load is one of the suggested fixes for your xbox live gold tenure
    being incorrect, a separate issue. :)

    Hey there Funky!

    I suggest taking a look at our
    Tenure Sticky     and reading through the posts there. Most importantly, we changed the way that Tenure is now calculated.

    Tenure is based on the cumulative amount of Xbox LIVE Gold time a user has. While you do not lose tenure when you go Silver, Xbox LIVE Silver time does not accrue tenure. You will see your tenure increase only when the year of Xbox LIVE Gold time
    has finished.

    For your first year of Xbox LIVE Gold you will see a '0' and increase to '1' year of tenure when that year is up! For example, if you've had Xbox LIVE Gold for 3 years and 6 months, you'll see a tenure of '3' next to your Gamertag.

    The only time that tenure is lowered if you didnt have gold for a period of time. Im not sure if they'll raise it or leave it at 6.

    I did the troubleshooting steps in the sticky, and my tenure is still incorrect.

    I'm not sure how to check tenure on Xbox.com, but on my Xbox my tenure has showed 3 for at least 1.5 years that changed this year, and instead of going up my tenure went down.

    I did clear my cache, delete my profile, etc. Still no luck.

    Xbox Live Year Number Is Wrong

    There is no one anywhere on these Forums that can do anything with your Account or Profile. Support sending you here was incorrect.

    A suggestion though, the Tenure (the number on a Profile for Xbox LIVE Gold) is exactly that. It only is counted during the time a Profile is Gold. If you let the Account become a Silver (free) Profile, it stops counting but will resume at the same point once
    Gold again.
