Incorrect ‘Sort by Size’ Size - Under My Games and Apps

To expand on gds1972 answer, go into the My Games and Apps section, and select Sort by size from the drop down menu at the top of the screen. You can do this on both your games and your apps sections to see the size and sort by the size of the apps and games

How are you measuring the sizes of your games?

If you go into "My games & apps" and sort by size, it will show the size of each game on its tile, but only the base game; not any DLC.

For example, I have Forza Horizon 5 with both DLC add-ons installed. If I sort by size, it shows the size as 129.1GB, but if I go into "Manage game & add-ons", it shows the size as 159.1GB as it includes the DLC. The difference can be massive, so that can easily account for 100GB of space across several games.

Once I also had an issue where I uninstalled a game, but it did not give me the free space back, so it was acting like the game was still installed, even though it no longer showed in my library. To fix that I did a factory reset, choosing the option to keep my games/apps/DLC installed, and that restored the missing space.

you have to reach the first drop down menù in the games&apps tab and choose the "sort by size" option.

You could have possibly misunderstood the size of the pre-order package versus the size of the game itself. By this I mean, the whole pre-order package may be 32GB but the game itself is 27GB from what you've posted. I'd recommend waiting until the release
and download the packages then check the size of the game then. If it doesn't meet the 32GB, I'd contact the Xbox Support services and Ubisoft. Another option is to confirm your sources. Where you found the intended size of the package may be incorrect and
your game may be exactly the right size.

games under a certain size will only install to the defualt storage location that is set for apps and games under settings/storage/change where to store.

large games will let you choose a drive.

basically change the default storage location for apps and games to another drive.
