    Incorrect Credit Card Expiry Message


    X Box app on my PC has a big green message saying my credit card is about to expire. It isn't (not for nearly a year).

    I can close it, but it keeps coming back.

    Not particularly impressed that after no constructive input from anyone on how this might be fixed and lots of people concurring that they have the same issue, the thread got locked as it was "old" (it was only a month old).

    Is that a good way to deal with customer issues?!

    Try checking it on the billing site to make sure it's correct there (https://billing.microsoft.com). If it still comes up with the wrong date you may need to call support and talk to billing.

    I have the exact same error message, had to remove my credit card from the system as the expiry date had passed, tried re entering the new details and it wont work.

    No. Microsoft should solve this issue. Not the end-user re-installing things.

    Reinstall the Xbox app and if the issue persists remove your card, update your addresses, add everything again re log in to the Xbox app.

    If the problem still persists, you can report the bug using the ''feedback hub'' app on your Windows, if you haven't installed it you can install it using the Microsoft Store app.
