Inconsistent Dedicated GPU usage, causing stuttering and low FPS on ASUS TUF F15

Hello again, yes, I play Fortnite a lot and whenever there are too many characters or we are in the lobby this happens.

That's because the servers are receiving players and the information is coming in too fast, with that the difficulty of rendering the characters and movements on the screen.

Thanks, but is it normal for this to be happening all the time when i'm in the game, or only in the lobby, or when i am surrounded by lots of players? Also, what is performance mode?

Hello Victoria, from the images you sent, you are playing Fortnite, the FPS drop will always happen in games that are 100% online, because you have two types of lag, processing and internet.

As much as your computer has good hardware, if the network fails at some point, it will be reflected in your game.

I don't know which mode you play in but to help reduce the ideal is to put the game in performance mode this makes the PC have more free memory to be able to manage the information that arrives.

What graphics settings are you using? The RTX 3050, is still really an entry level GPU, you can't max out the graphics and expect high frame rates. If you want better performance make sure Ray Tracing - which is a new feature to Fortnite - is turned off.
