"Incomplete Xbox 360 game download" of a free COD: Black Ops 2 game

i just got a new 500 gb xbox360 w/ a coupon for the above game. When I attempted to download it, I eventually got the above error. I tried to download it again (without deleting the file) & was told that the coupon had already been redeemed. What to do?
Delete it & try again? What if it maintains that "the coupon has already been redeemed?

Backwards Compatibility/Previously Purchased Game

The problem I am having is that my xbox one store does not offer a free download of Black Ops 2, even though I bought the game in 2014. When I started up my dust-covered xbox 360, the console storage contained Black Ops 2 and the download history listed
black ops 2. Evidently, I do not wish to buy the game again.

Did you mean COD: Ghost? If not you can't upgrade black ops 2 to x1.

 

Once a code is used it cannot be used again. Go to your download history to redownload items. On the console go to Settings>Accounts>Download History

 

Also did you buy the console out of region?

Does your account region match your actual region?

If not that would be why as it is region locked

The region of the code and account region and actual region has to watch
